Workshop Descriptions

Basic Workshop

  • Free to attend
  • A brief product demonstration of a stamping or papercraft technique
  • Guests make one simple project such as a card or a small 3-D item to take home.
  • Guests are provided time to shop the catalog and place orders.
  • Hostess receives rewards starting at $150 in orders (before tax & shipping).
  • This is a great option if most guests are already in to rubber stamping or paper crafting because they are likely to place an order.

 Girls Night Out Workshop

  • $5 fee for guests, hostess attends for free (covers materials needed to make multiple projects)
  • A brief product demonstration of a stamping or papercraft technique
  • Guests make three simple projects such as two cards and a 3-D item (treat box, gift card holder, etc)
  • As a bonus to guests, anyone who places a $50 or more order (before tax & shipping) will receive an additional $5 in free product of their choice added to their order.  That’s like attending the workshop for free!
  • Hostess receives rewards starting at $150 in orders (before tax & shipping).
  • Consider this workshop for your social groups like book clubs or moms groups or if your most of your guests do not know much about rubber stamping and paper crafting.  It’s a great introduction for a small fee with no pressure to buy.  (Of course, you can fully expect them to become *addicted* to papercrafting after this event!)

 Stamp Camp Workshop

  • $20 fee for guests, hostess attends for free (covers materials needs to make multiple projects)
  • Guests make several projects based on a particular theme, technique, or stamp set.  Projects include a combination of cards, 3-D items (treat box, gift card holder, etc) and additional paper craft item like a gift tags, bookmarks, etc.
  • As a bonus to guests, free product will be added to orders (total before tax & shipping).
    • $50-99 = $5 in additional product
    • $100-149 = $10 in additional product
    • $150-199 = $15 in additional product
    • $200 or more = $20 in additional product
  • Hostess receives rewards starting at $150 in orders (before tax & shipping).
  • This is a great option for folks who would like to do more papercrafting and stamping, but perhaps feel like they don’t have the time or space.  It’s a great social event like supper clubs or book clubs, but with a creative twist.  Again, the fee keeps friends from feeling pressure to buy.  Those that do purchase can earn back their fee in additional free product.

Stamp Club

  • Monthly Minimum Order Club, $15-30 with a club of 5-10 participants (before tax & shipping).
  • Each member of the club serves as hostess receives rewards for their month.
  • This club is a commitment for several months, but it is a great time to meet new people and learn new techniques.
  • If you are a regular stamper or are looking to become one, this is the club for you.  You can add to your supplies monthly and earn guaranteed rewards for your hostess month.

  1. Terrific ideas, Amber! Wishing you much success with your business. I just started an a muse studio business myself (I’m in TX) and I love how you’ve outlined the way your workshops will work. I may take some pointers from you! Thanks for such wonderful ideas.

  2. Hi Kristen–I am glad these were helpful to you. I used ideas from the a|s consultant handbook and a lot of reading on the Lounge to come up with my plan. You are welcome to use any of this as you start your business. Good luck! -Amber
